At BPP, we understand that relocating to a new country for your studies can be a little daunting. Rest assured we will do everything we can to make the process as smooth and easy as possible.
For your peace of mind - should you wish - we will guarantee to find you safe, comfortable and suitable accommodation during your first year as a student with BPP. Before you come to the UK, we will discuss your requirements and the likely costs, and then make arrangements on your behalf, so that when you arrive you already have somewhere to stay.
We will also continue to provide you with advice and assistance throughout your time here: from information about flat-sharing vacancies to help with any queries.
There are four different types of accommodation available: Temporary (a short-term solution for students and relatives), Private Halls of Residence (typically with the advantage of inclusive bills), Homestay (in which international students can live with friendly host families, with meals included), and Private Rented (frequently involving sharing a property with one or more fellow students).
Living costs can vary greatly depending on which type of accommodation you choose and where in London you live. As a rough guide, expect to pay:
Accommodation or rent: Around £500 - £1000 per month
Heat and light (if not included): £20 to £40 per month
Food (if not included): £110 to £135 per month
Laundry: £12 per month
Daily travel (if close to your place of study): £1 to £3 per day
